Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data LAIKCC collects, how we use and protect it, and your rights. We handle personal data in line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

1. What we collect

Request and account data: the name, email, contact (WeChat or mobile number), expected team size, description of needs and chosen model series you enter when you send a request or inquiry; after registration, your language preference, sign-in history and sessions.

Order and payment data: orders, quotes, service periods and documents. Payments are processed by Airwallex; we keep only transaction IDs, amounts and status and never see full card details.

Service data: identifiers of bound devices, slot assignments, support requests and correspondence. For enterprise customers, also the organisation name, billing contact and remittance slips.

2. How we use it

To reply to requests and inquiries; to quote, collect payment, activate and renew; to send notices (request receipt, payment, activation, renewal reminders, expiry) by email in your language; to handle support, reconciliation, audit and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for marketing unrelated to the service.

3. Sharing

Only with processors needed to run the service: our payment provider (Airwallex), email and messaging providers, and cloud infrastructure providers, acting on our instructions.

Co-riders see masked information only (first character of the name, masked email, join date). We may disclose data to authorities where the law requires.

4. Retention

Order, payment, document and operation records are kept as required for accounting and audit; other data is deleted or anonymised once no longer needed.

5. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or deletion beyond statutory retention. Send requests from your registered email to support@laik.cc.

6. Security

We protect data with access control, encryption in transit, role-based staff permissions and audit logs, and will notify you promptly of any incident that may affect your data.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language; no third-party advertising trackers.

LAIKCC is an independent configuration and service provider, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any third-party provider. Model series names are used only to describe the service. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.
